MAJOR RENO

Jesse Lee Reno in Wheeling WV o n April 20, 1823 and died at the Batttle of South Mountain on September 14, 1862. He was a Union general during the Civil War and also fought in the Mexican-American War. Reno, Nevada is named after him.
