SPINOZA

Benedictus de Spinoza or Baruch de Spinoza born November 24, 1632 died February 21, 1677. He was a Dutch philosopher, considered one of the great rationalists of 1600's philosophy His writings reveal considerable mathematical training and facility. The significants of his work was realized only years after his death.He is now recognized as having laid the groundwork for the eighteen century Enlightenment, alsohe is considered one of the founder of modern biblical criticism.
