HENRY W. BEECHER

Henry Ward Beecher was born June 24, 1813 and died on March 8, 1887. He was a very well known 19th century , theologically liberal Congregationalist clergyman and social reformer. He was fiercely anti slavery, pro woman's suffrage and temperance He did hadve a scandelous sexual life, some say he believe in free love. He was involved in an adultery trail considered to be the trial of the 19th century.
